Little Feat drummer Richie Hayward died yesterday as a result of liver failure.

I was fortunate enough to catch them in 1977 in NYC, great show with Lowell, of course.

Damn - seems like age is catching up with too many of us, I lost a good friend yesterday at 58. He was a client , a vet and a good friend for 23 years.

I saw Feat in 75 or 76', Richie was a great drummer and Feat were my favorite band in those days, got me ready for my intro to the Boys in 77'.

"COOL RUNNINS" to all those souls as they take the next journey in the LIGHT!!!

Sad news indeed. Caught them twice when hit the road in '88. Neither show is here so I think I will go with this one:

Love the Little Feat

Never got to see them with Lowell but did see them at a small venue in NYC back in the 90's and they kicked ass!!
